The manufacturing process of silicone molds is generally divided into coating, brushing, perfusion and slicing molds. The specific operations are as follows:

1. Mold wrapping: first wrap a layer of soil with a thickness of 3-5mm on the mold seed to make a plaster coat, remove the soil stains and release the mold seed, pour the stirred mold silica gel and curing agent into the gypsum coat with the mold seed cover, and cure forming. This is more suitable for small products.

2. Brushing mold: Generally, the three-layer brushing type is multi-layered according to the requirements of the mold. The first layer of brushing is vacuumed on the mold, and the brushing is in place. The second layer of gauze. The third layer cover is cured and formed. This can be done for medium and large products.

3. Filling mold: Filling mold or filling mold is used for relatively smooth or simple products. It is to surround the product or model you want to copy with a plastic plate or glass plate, and pour the evacuated silica gel directly onto the product. After the silica gel is dried and formed, the product is taken out, and the mold is formed. The infusion mold is generally made of silica gel with relatively soft hardness, so that it is easier to demold and will not damage the products in the silicone mold. Some cannot be directly taken out of the mold. It is also necessary to open the knife and demould so that the production is smooth, and this is also a small product.

4. Fragmentation mold: The vacuumed silica gel is applied by brushing or pouring. If you are making a piece mold or a piece mold with a brushing method,

Before painting, apply a layer of release agent or release agent to the product or model you want to copy, and then paint the silicone on the product. Apply evenly. After waiting for 30 minutes, stick a layer of gauze on the surface. Or glass fiber cloth to increase the strength, and then apply a second layer of silica gel, wait for the silica gel to dry, and then make the outer mold, the outer mold can be made of plaster or resin and other materials.
